You will have a better Convergence® experience if you stay at the conference hotel. The close proximity to Convergence® activities and the ability to network with other attendees makes this an easy choice. In addition, by staying at the conference hotel you help keep future Convergence® rates low.
The hotel rates negotiated by HGA include many benefits for you and our organization. Based on the number of rooms we reserve and occupy; the hotel provides complimentary meeting room space – savings that are passed on to attendees through HGA’s registration rates. If the Convergence® conference is unable to meet its commitment because attendees are making reservations at other hotels, HGA is charged a fee to make up for lost revenue. If this becomes a trend, HGA would be forced to increase the registration fee and cut services.
Rates do not include taxes. Parking rates are subject to change. Amenities vary by type of room.

We have received reports of scam phone calls targeting individuals attending or participating in our conference.
Callers are falsely claiming to represent the Handweavers Guild of America or our conference hotel partner and are offering a reduced hotel rate or attempting to modify existing registrations. These calls are fraudulent.
While we do not share reservation details for this purpose, scammers may use publicly available information - such as exhibitor or teacher listings - or third party data sources to make their outreach seem legitimate.
To ensure your reservation is secure, please use only our official hotel booking link.

- Our official hotel rate has not changed.
