Exhibits

Produced annually, Small Expression is an exhibit of juried works showcasing fiber art on a small scale (not to exceed 15 inches or 38cm in any direction). This exhibit opens each summer and then is available to tour to galleries and museums throughout the United States for the duration of a year to raise awareness and appreciation for the fiber arts.

Week-long juried exhibits are produced in tandem with HGA's biennial Convergence® conference. These exhibits include works of yardage, mixed media, wearable art, basketry and more. Photos from past exhibits can be viewed in back issues of Shuttle Spindle & Dyepot and in our Gallery pages on Facebook.

Anyone working in fiber or using fiber techniques are eligible to enter HGA exhibits. Members receive a discounted entry fee and students enrolled in accredited educational institutions may enter free of charge.
