HGA’s Convergence® 2012 Long Beach Latitude: All Media Art Exhibit
Exhibit: July 18-21, 2012, Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California
An international juried exhibit featuring high quality, contemporary works created in any material using any fiber technique.
Juror: Aaron Kramer
Aaron Kramer is a Santa Monica artist whose woven and constructed sculpture explores the intersection between the found and the fabricated. His sculptural work has won numerous awards and commissions worldwide.
Exhibit Coordinator: Patty Savignac
HGA seeks to feature work which is not only of the highest caliber in craftsmanship and technical ability but which also transcends the ordinary, expresses creative design beyond process, and is visually exciting.
The juror will independently screen all images and make the preliminary selection of all work in the exhibition. Entries will be evaluated on concept, design, suitability of technique and/or materials, craftsmanship and creative exploration.
Accepted work is subject to final approval by the juror's representative after the actual work arrives at the Long Beach Convention Center. Work that differs significantly from the digital image representing it will be ineligible for the exhibition and returned to the artist.
Submission to Latitude: All Media 2012 implies that the artwork represented on the digital images will be, if chosen by the juror, available for the exhibition and that the artist understands that all accepted work, without exception, must remain for the duration of the exhibition.
