  International juried exhibit of small-scale fiber pieces sponsored annually by the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc.

  An international juried exhibit featuring lengths of constructed or embellished yardage.

  Entry Requirements: Minimum 18 inches (45.7 cm) width, 3 yards (2.7 m) length; maximum 60 inches (1.5 m) width, 10 yards (9.1 m) length, 40 pounds (18.1 Kg) weight. Digital images and 8 inch by 8 inch (20.3 cm square) handling piece.

• Walk in Beauty -- Fashion Show and Exhibit [ Prospectus ]
  International juried exhibit featuring one-of-a-kind fashion that shows understanding of the body and body movement, along with runway presence and overall suitability of the technique and/or materials.

  Entry Requirements: Digital images and 8 inch by 8 inch (20.3 cm square) handling piece.

General information for all exhibits:
The juror will independently screen all images and make the preliminary selection of all work in the exhibition.
Pieces will be evaluated on concept, design, technique, and overall suitability of the technique and/or materials. Creative exploration is encouraged.
Pieces must be originally conceived and created by the entrant. The work should be one-of-a-kind, not previously exhibited at a Convergence, completed within the last two years (since January 2008), and not previously published.

Entry forms and prospectuses will be available on this Web site after the jurors are announced. Please note individual deadlines, as they vary from exhibit to exhibit.

Community Exhibits

During the summer of 2010, Community Exhibits featuring fiber art will be presented in galleries throughout New Mexico. The deadline for application has passed.
