HGA's Convergence biennial conference offers classes of various lengths and intensity to satisfy your need to learn about the fiber arts. From beginning handweaving to designing fabrics with computer-assisted tools; from spinning one's own yarns to dyeing fibers in your own custom colors, from an in-depth study to a quick overview for the curious, Convergence offers something of interest for everyone who loves fiber! HGA's Convergence 2010 Albuquerque is pleased to offer instruction in a variety of fiber techniques, including weaving, spinning, dyeing, basketry, feltmaking, knitting, garment construction and sewing with handwovens, tapestry, design, and much more! You can mix long or short classes as you choose from the following educational experiences.
Class Schedule Overview
All classes for Convergence 2010 Albuquerque will be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Classes are appropriate for all levels unless otherwise noted. Classes that require special equipment are noted. Participants will receive instructions, comprehensive supply lists and equipment rental information with their registration confirmation.
